Program: A Spark of Light for your Valentine’s Day

A Spark of Light was born out of the glimmer that appears at the end of the journey through the dark night of the soul. Yet, that light is an ever-present sliver, even in the darkest of moments, for the human being can hold faith that they will overcome this too and dawn shall break.
I chose to work with a theme that explores dark and light; inspired by my journey through the refining fires, bringing transformation.

The program starts with the journey to earth from the spiritual world, from pre-birth and even pre creation and then moves into aspects of human struggle and in the end emerging into rebirth and divine love.

Schedule

  • 2:15 PM – Doors open
  • 2:30 PM – Program (for children 12 and up)
  • 3:30 PM – Brief Q&A, followed by light refreshments

Melody Miller is a member of Emerson Waldorf School’s first high school graduating class. Melody began her speech journey with Barbara Renold, Helen Lubin, and Jennifer Kleinbach in Spring Valley, as well as having learned from Craig Giddens and Daniel Stokes. She subsequently did most of her training – both online and in person – with Kim Snyder-Vine, and, more recently, with Geoff Norris who helped her prepare her graduation performance. Her training was supported by numerous donations from members and friends of the Emerson Waldorf and Anthroposophical communities in this area.

Suggested voluntary donations at the door:
