We'll sing a song or two, read from the gospel for the week (John 14:1–31), share our thoughts about the reading, and offer prayers. It's always an enriching and enlivening experience. What intimate understanding of the earthly struggles of being human did each of these individuals provide for the Fulfillment of the Mystery of Golgotha?   Light refreshments will be served.

We'll be gathering at the home of Robin and Diana Haynes, at 2707 Tryon Rd, Durham, NC 27705; in their beautiful back yard, weather permitting. (Otherwise, on the covered deck or inside, as conditions warrant.) Please bring a poem or short verse about clouds. Following the program there will be a pot luck lunch. Diana will make a vegetarian soup; other food contributions are welcome.

The Consecration of the Human Being will be celebrated on Sunday, June 16th at 10:30 AM at the home of Sarah and Buddy Smiley. The address is 228 Forest Hill Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. After the service we'll be gathering at North Forest Hills Park picnic shelter, a short distance from the Smiley's, for a potluck lunch. Then Rev. Giles will give a brief talk, or lead us in some singing, or perhaps both. Everyone is welcome.

We'll gather around the traditional bonfire to: sing songs (including singing to the bees), play music (bring your instruments), hear some word spoken to mark the moment (bring a verse or poem if you'd like to contribute), share food (bring a dish to share and your own utensils) .... in celebration of St. John's Day. --- Everyone is welcome! There's shelter if it rains. .- - - - - Please note that Millhouse Road is closed coming from Hwy 86; follow the detour to Eubanks Rd to Millhouse Rd and the Waldorf School Farm will be on your right just after Manor Dr and just before the Sunrise Community Farm on your left.
