Festival celebrations are the heart of an anthroposophical community. At the Rudolf Steiner Branch, NC, the four major festivals are observed, as well as some minor ones. We share Advent Sundays, the Holy Nights of Christmas, Passion Week before Easter, Easter Sunrise, St. John’s, Michaelmas and All Souls Day. Directly below are photos from our Michaelmas Celebration 2018, only two days after Hurricane Michael devastated our Florida coast in the panhandle, speeding up to Chapel Hill, forcing us to relocate the celebration due to Durham due to power outage at Emerson Waldorf School.
